A fixed time. Your contract with yourself. [day#3]

Choose one time of day—not the perfect one, but the realistic one. One that fits into your daily rhythm even when everything else goes wrong. It doesn’t have to be the exact same hour every single day, but it should be consistent. Your own ritual.
For me, it’s 6:30 AM on weekdays, 10:00 AM on weekends. I wake up, I move, I’ve made an appointment with myself. And I don’t cancel it. If I have to, I shorten the session—but I don’t skip it. If the plan requires more, I start a few minutes earlier. Back when I was injured, instead of running, I did rehab. Still at the same time. Every day.
This kind of rhythm—even a simple one—starts to bring order to your day. Others around you know you’re unavailable during that time. You yourself feel that this time belongs to you. And suddenly, sleep, work, meals—they all start to fall into place around that core habit.
Today, after a demanding gym session, I actually feel better than I did after yesterday’s 5k run. That doesn’t mean lifting was easier. The body just reacts differently. And coming back It always hurts. Especially when it’s not the first comeback, but another one. Each time, though, you come back wiser.
Tomorrow is run number two. Stick to the plan.
