Badger [day#27]
This morning felt rough. It’s probably time to start incorporating some regular recovery work — there’s a lot in the toolbox. For now, I’ve started using my Compressport calf sleeves again after experiencing two light cramps in my left calf.
But you know what I could really write about today?
After four weeks of running… my foot doesn’t hurt. The right foot. The one that’s been a constant source of pain for almost two years. It just doesn’t. That alone feels like a huge — massive — win.
I’ve also done a basic MyFitnessPal setup. Nothing too fancy, but I’ll need to keep an eye on calories for the next few weeks. It’s time.
Also on the list: I’m wrapping up a simple daily yoga routine to plug into the TGF System’s morning flow module. It’s almost ready.
But truthfully, the highlight of my day was a little badger I encountered during my morning walk. First time I’ve ever seen one in the wild — small, cautious, moving through the underbrush. Partially protected species. And now, maybe a new neighbor in “my” forest. I really hope they settle in.
